||This is 16 1/4 (41cm) viola made in 2009 by Michaela Wedemeyer, graduate of the Newark School. It has been my daughters instrument since 2009 and saw her through Principal Violist in the National Youth Orchestra and her time at Cambridge where she read music. She went on to study at the RAM where she needed a better instrument and for that reason she now wishes to sell this one. It has recently been cleaned and serviced and is in excellent playing condition. It would be ideal for an aspiring violist. It is reasonably light so not to onerous to play. She tried many violas when she bought this one, but this had the best balance of tone and projection. It was recently valued by Armati in London in excess of £7000. She is asking for offers around £6600. The instrument is currently with me in Blandford Forum and is available to try by appointment.
